Italy is a fantastic country. Many people dream to go there, even to live there. Do you, too? When I learnt Latin at school I dreamt to go there one day and see all the ancient places. Later I imaged Italy as a warm country with blue sea and white beaches everywhere and I wanted to really be there some day.
Now I live here for 30 years – and Mamma Mia! – Italy! What a place, what a country. Some dreams came true, others didn’t. The landscape is inexpressible beautiful – and Italians do their best to destroy it with ugly industries or just by throwing rubbish everywhere they go.
It is a love-hate relationship I have developed for this country, but I am still here!
In this show I have invited foreigners like myself who have chosen to live in Italy, as well as Italians who have chosen to NOT live in Italy but are really attached to it in nostalgia – and also a person who is born and grown in Italy and has no intention to go elsewhere.
We intend to discuss what this country means for us, what tourists can get when they come here, what you get when you chose to live here, why life seems easy here – and really difficult, and why we, ultimately, love this country and are proud to show it to visitors.

Nuccia says about herself: If you’re new to my blog you’ll notice that I love to talk about beauty and fashion and anything related to women.
I try to share with you the things that I have learned along the way.I am by no means an expert in the beauty field, in fact, quite the opposite. I’m a simple, no-fuss type of gal who thankfully picked up a few beauty tips in her life. Having said that please keep in mind that any reviews/opinions you read here stem from my PERSONAL experiences and are in no way to be considered professional advice!
About Heidi Hornlein
She came to Italy 30 years ago to study Italian Opera. She fell in love with the country and with an Italian partner she moved to Umbria where she created an organic farm and a countryhouse becoming a guest house and seminar center during the years. It is now called Paradiso Integrale. She felt quite isolated in the countryside until Internet became an option. Since January she hosts the CONNECTION SHOW with Margherita and in November she will start a new Show on G+ “The wisdom Factory” with her present husband Mark Davenport – an American in Umbria, following the call of love….
